Company History
Sea School began in 1977 in the town of St Petersburg Florida with the founder Ron Wahl. Back then Ron was the teacher and administrator of entry-level pleasure boating courses which allow the average citizen to obtain his or her small or entry level captain's license this captain's license makes the boater competent and approved by the US Coast Guard to take passengers For Hire on their small pleasure boats. Since that time Sea School has grown exponentially to include eight offices located around United States and classes taught in nearly three hundred cities. Many of the original staff getting back to that time are still employed at Sea School. It means a lot to our clients to see friendly and familiar faces year after year decade after decade faces that they can count on to provide guidance and advise when it comes to the complicated United States government and bureaucracy. Now with offices in Fort Lauderdale St Petersburg Florida Jacksonville Florida Panama City Florida Charleston South Carolina Bayou La Batre Alabama New York and Toledo we are better situated to help Mariners on a larger basis.
