Sause Bros. provides a full range of marine transportation services to clients in the Pacific Rim: from ocean towing, cargo handling, oil towing, and ship assist, to marine construction and repair. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of service, with certifications in the International Safety Management Code. Sause Bros. owns and operates a state-of-the-art fleet of tugs and barges that provide the highest level of service to our customers. Whether it's forest products, petroleum products or custom specialty cargoes, we have the people, the equipment, and the expertise to meet our customers' needs. Company History
Sause Bros. has been one of the most respected names in U.S. flag marine cargo transportation for decades. Beginning in the 1930’s with one small wooden tug, we have grown to a fleet of over 60 modern, powerful tugs and barges.
Throughout the company’s history we have maintained our dedication to continuous improvement: providing our customers with vessels configured to meet their needs, building and training a professional and highly-skilled workforce, developing innovative and cost-effective solutions to cargo handling challenges, and exceeding regulatory and industry standards for safety, training, and environmental protection.
